How it started

My journey into the world of making began between the ages of five and ten, sparked by the tactile simplicity of origami and felting. These early explorations soon matured into complex creative pursuits, from intricate paper sculptures and specialised leatherwork to the rhythmic precision of blacksmithing and whipmaking—a dedication that eventually earned me first place and champion status at the Canberra Show.

Seeking to ground this creative passion in technical expertise, I transitioned into formal training during my secondary education. While completing Year 10, I commenced an Australian School-based Apprenticeship (ASBA) for a Certificate III in Engineering-Fabrication (Sheet Metal Working). By Year 11, I had already progressed to a Diploma of Engineering, choosing to prioritise advanced technical development alongside the construction of a custom 100W CNC CO2 laser cutter and various multidisciplinary projects.

Building on this vocational foundation, I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at university. While my academic studies provide theoretical depth, I remain committed to the workshop; every spare moment is dedicated to refining my craft and delivering professional-grade solutions for my clients.
